Violinist Ema Nikolovska

Violinist Ema Nikolovska at Arts Etobicoke

At the Annual General Meeting, Wed, Dec 7, 2011

On Wed, Dec 7, we held a special evening of music and entertainment, followed by our Annual General Meeting at the Arts Etobicoke Gallery,

The evening began with a screening of a special documentary, directed by Hugh Gibson, on Art on the Move (Year 3)– A Mobile Community Arts Initiative (presented in partnership with Lakeshore Arts).

Then violinist Ema Nikolovska took the stage, performing solo works by J.S. Bach and Chausson's Poème with accompanist Ben Smith. A student in the Royal Conservatory's prestigious Glenn Gould School, Ema is this year's recipient of the Stephen Staryk Violin Scholarship, one of our Presidents' Legacy Scholarships.

Thanks to all our guests for joining us. A big thank you also goes to volunteers Josie, Steve, Biliana and Chris for their assistance during the event.
